The Monregalese area has no shortage of local associations, but real cultural welfare pathways for people in vulnerable situations remain limited. Economic, social and relational barriers still keep many of the most vulnerable people from taking part in cultural life at all.
"Muse Ribelli" responds directly to that gap, turning an exhibition about women, image and power in art history into an active tool for inclusion, personal growth and wellbeing, rather than something to be simply viewed and left behind.
The project
"Muse Ribelli" runs guided tours, self-representation workshops and meetings with experts around the exhibition, engaging women in vulnerable situations, people with disabilities, older residents and students in genuinely participatory pathways. The project promotes wellbeing, inclusion and active citizenship, building new relationships and a stronger sense of belonging to the local community through shared cultural experience.
The project rests on inclusion, accessibility, active participation and equal opportunity, promoting participants' autonomy and empowerment while treating artistic heritage as a genuine tool for wellbeing. A cultural welfare approach built on real collaboration between institutions, schools and the Third Sector runs through the whole programme.
Who the project is for
The project's direct beneficiaries are around 250 people: students, women in vulnerable situations, people with disabilities, older residents, and members of local associations and organised groups.
Its impact reaches further, to over 3,000 people, including families, schools, citizens and Third Sector organisations, who take part in the activities and share in the project's wider cultural and social effects.
