Malgesso has no shortage of local associations, but genuinely free opportunities for people to simply gather together are limited. What's missing is an inclusive moment that actually brings young people, families and the wider community together, building participation, social cohesion and a stronger sense of belonging to the town.
Parco Din Don offers an ideal setting for exactly that kind of inclusive, community-wide initiative, open and accessible to everyone in the area.
The project
"Più che una Festa" promotes social inclusion and youth leadership, giving young people real opportunities for active participation and volunteering. Music runs through the whole event, creating a genuine meeting point between generations and a form of social growth built on shared responsibility and commitment.
The project rests on inclusion, participation, free access and collaboration, valuing young people's skills, active citizenship and cooperation between the local area, associations and institutions, strengthening the network between them along the way.
Who the project is for
The project's direct beneficiaries are an estimated 4,000 to 6,000 citizens, with particular attention to young people, families and volunteers, alongside the local associations and young volunteers directly involved in running it.
Its impact reaches further, to the wider community and local area, which benefit from a stronger network and a deeper local culture of solidarity.
