Nestled in the Superga Natural Park, Borgo Rubens is a shared space accessible by public transport in Turin where numerous activities come to life, intertwining to create synergies and special experiences.

What the project involves

In its Borgo, ASD Rubens runs integrated rehabilitation, education, and social inclusion courses with the aim of providing children, adults, and the elderly with special life experiences through relationships with animals, nature, and the people who live in the Borgo.

Here, participants can develop interpersonal, motor, and cognitive skills, improving their mental and physical well-being in a protected and welcoming environment. The proposed activities, ranging from nature walks to animal care, are designed to foster integration and personal growth, promoting a context of sharing and solidarity.

Expected Outcomes

  • Improved social inclusion of young people with experiences of psychological distress
  • Inclusion and accessibility of the Borgo's courses and spaces
  • Stimulating social interactions

The beneficiaries

The activities will involve a group of 8 young people aged between 14 and 22, with difficulties or critical issues in the psychological, behavioural, interpersonal area or who express the need to experiment in a stimulating and protected environment.

The project will also produce benefits for the families and caregivers of those involved.
