Currently, the SS. Natale community does not have its own means of transport but relies on the availability of individual volunteers to carry out extracurricular activities, significantly limiting its scope. This has an impact on its young guests’ social interactions.

What the project involves

The aim is to enable the community to be independent in extra-curricular activities through the purchase of a minibus that will allow the children to be taken anywhere, to foster their healthy growth through exchange and dialogue with outside organisations.

Thanks to the possibility of travel, it will in fact be possible to participate in specific psycho-rehabilitation activities, such as psychomotor education, as well as practising the sport that the children like best to properly channel their energy.

Expected Outcomes

  • Autonomy of the community, which will be able to manage the children's activities independently
  • Improved quality of life felt by children, who will be able to participate in age-appropriate local activities
  • Social inclusion
  • Proper, harmonious psycho-motor development

The beneficiaries

The primary beneficiaries are the children hosted by the community, namely 12 between the ages of 5 and 12. The four nuns who run the community and possibly the 15 volunteers who will be able to support the children in their activities would also benefit.
