The birth of NEXUS is characterised by the desire to turn this challenge into an opportunity, using football as the central point for an innovative project of welcome and mutual understanding. NEXUS stands out for the quality of the activities offered, which are accessible free of charge, and for the strong connection with the local community, supporting the most vulnerable.

What the project involves

With the aim of fostering a common culture of natural and mutual acceptance among young adults, Italians and foreigners, Yousport ASD's NEXUS project aims to become a unique football team model, combining sports training with language courses, job orientation, and accommodation searches.

The project offers a holistic approach, combining sports training, nutritional education, and personal development, using innovative technologies for performance monitoring.

The beneficiaries

The project involves 30 young adults aged 18 to 35, one third of whom are Italian and the remainder from immigrant backgrounds. Among the latter, 30% come from 3 CAS (Extraordinary Reception Centres). 140,000 people, including families, friends of participants, and citizens of Milan's Municipality 3 will indirectly benefit from the initiative.
