The main needs of Care Leavers relate to relationships, housing, education, and employment and it is essential to build a pathway to autonomy before the age of 18.

In this context, the economic and financial management of their resources is a crucial element, and it is precisely this aspect that Agevolando APS wants to address, cultivating confidence in the future among those involved.

What the project involves

The Agevolando project offers a financial gift for autonomy, flanked by assistance in financial management with the support of a contact person from the Association. The aim is to promote the financial inclusion of Care Leavers and support their employability.

It’s a model that the Association has tried and tested for three years now; Agevolando's participative and customised approach helps, as the young people involved say, to “build later a little earlier”.

Expected Outcomes

  • Reinforcement of participants' personal and professional skills
  • Working on the beneficiaries’ self-determination skills
  • Strengthening Care Leavers’ life skills and competences
  • Resilience, resourcefulness, and participation

The beneficiaries

The route will involve 10 direct beneficiaries, with a maximum of 4 financial donations to selected individuals. 50 indirect beneficiaries will be involved, including operators and educators of local services.
