The province of Rieti is characterised by strong territorial diversity, comprising both small rural centres and larger cities. Liberarte Associazione Culturale aims to create spaces of artistic expression and well-being for young people in Lazio, promoting social cohesion and mental and physical well-being.
What the project involves
Already successfully tested in several dance schools and high schools in Rieti, the project aims to improve the mental and physical well-being of young people through dance theatre exercises that encourage self-expression and self-esteem, reducing stress through physical activity. The method used promotes cooperation between participants, fostering the creation of an inclusive and stimulating environment.
The trainers involved offer constant support, helping the children to discover new forms of communication and to develop a greater awareness of their bodies.
Expected Outcomes
- Increased self-esteem and community cohesion
- Decreased stress and emotional distress
- Personal growth and improvement of self-expression
- Creation of a model that can be replicated
The beneficiaries
The project will directly involve 150 young people aged between 15 and 25 years, residing in the province of Rieti and in Lazio. Indirect beneficiaries include participants' families, schools, and local communities, estimated at 500 people in total.
