Existing public and private services still neglect a large segment of young people. To this end, Balon Mundial has developed an educational sports programme that promotes values such as gender equity, fair play, anti-discrimination, commitment to sports, and the adoption of healthy lifestyles.
What the project involves
Through its educational football school, Balon Mundial engages young people in activities that promote health and instil healthy lifestyle habits, reducing sedentariness and unhealthy lifestyles. The project also develops participants' soft skills, improving skills such as leadership, collaboration, effective communication, conflict resolution, and empathy, which are essential for personal and professional growth.
Expected Outcomes
- Improvement of physical and psychological well-being
- Social inclusion, reducing child educational poverty
- Personal growth of participants
- Increased awareness and social skills
The beneficiaries
150 individuals including children aged 5-10, adolescents in the 11-16 age group, and adults over 29 are the direct beneficiaries of the project, which activates the educational community with training opportunities.
The project will also have a positive impact on the fans who will attend the matches and on the visitors of the Casa del Quartiere “Cecchi Point”, where the school will take place.
