Since 2022, the Asociación Bona Gent has been running the “Sport is Life” project in Valencia, with very satisfying results for the participants and their families, but also for the staff involved and the Valencian community.

What the project involves

The project aims to improve the quality of life of people with intellectual functional diversity through sport, promoting their health and well-being. Expected Outcomes

  • Active and equal participation
  • Promotion of individual empowerment
  • Increased accessibility of facilities and practices

The beneficiaries

Direct beneficiaries of the project include 19 persons with an intellectual-cognitive disability of 33% or more, aged between 22 and 73, with support needs. The project will also have a positive impact on their families and the social fabric of Valencia.
