Research by Agenzia Piemonte Lavoro highlights the need to intensify interventions and projects aimed at corporate consultancy on employing people with disabilities.

In fact, the Metropolitan City of Turin area is full of companies that are obliged to hire under Law 68/99.

What the project involves

The project structures training and consultancy courses to combat the exclusion and stigmatisation of people with disabilities. It supports the attainment of disability-related skills by corporate employers affected by the obligation under Law 68/99 or by companies interested in the subject. It facilitates the meeting of supply and demand through meetings, communication, and dedicated help desks.

Expected Outcomes

  • Promoting a corporate culture of disability
  • Greater accessibility of employment opportunities for people with disabilities
  • Supporting the network of family members of people with disabilities

The beneficiaries

The project directly involves companies in the Turin and Metropolitan City area, workers with disabilities, associations, and parental groups.

The plan is to involve 15 companies in the area in the course; information material will then be sent to at least 40 parties, including companies, labour consultants, associations, voluntary sector organisations, and public services.
