Opera singing, a fundamental part of the Italian cultural heritage, today experiences the challenge of remaining accessible and close to the new generations.

Often, young people with musical talent are unable to continue their journey due to lack of economic resources or adequate training opportunities. In this scenario, the work risks becoming a distant language, reserved for a few, losing its capacity for inclusion and cultural transmission.

What the project involves

Born in Padua, the project offers free masterclasses aimed at young opera singers, selected not only for artistic merit but also based on personal and economic difficulties. The initiative combines the quality of training, guaranteed by internationally renowned masters, with an inclusive approach that enhances talent outside of traditional circuits.

The project also offers scholarships, opportunities for professional discussion and the possibility of performing in a final concert open to citizens, strengthening social cohesion and the diffusion of opera culture.

The beneficiaries

Direct beneficiaries are 20 young opera singers, selected with attention to merit, gender equality and conditions of social or economic fragility.

Indirect beneficiaries will be around 100 listeners of the masterclasses, over 200 spectators of the final concert and an estimated audience of 5,000 people reached online through content spread on the web. In this way, the project generates an impact that goes beyond the direct participants, helping to spread the culture of opera as a shared and accessible heritage.
