Areas of intervention
Reale Foundation intervenes as a priority in support of initiatives in Italy, Spain and Chile in support of the communities in which the Reale Group is present and operates.
The resources allocated are intended for initiatives pursuing goals in the following three main areas of intervention in line with the Sustainable Development Goals 1 (Zero poverty), 3 (Health and Wellbeing), 8 (Decent work and economic growth), and 11 ( Sustainable Cities and Communities).
HEALTH & WELFARE AREA: CHRONIC DISEASE PREVENTION
Reale Foundation supports initiatives for:
- Combating the onset of chronic diseases by encouraging prevention activities. To this end, Reale Foundation supports as a priority initiatives that reduce the risk factors associated with the spread of frequent chronic diseases such as cardio-vascular diseases, respiratory diseases, diabetes and tumours
- Supporting initiatives aimed at increasing the well-being of patients suffering from chronic conditions, facilitating access to treatment and taking care of vulnerable individuals and improving their quality of physical, psychological and social life
SOCIAL AREA: INCLUSION AND SOCIO-ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT OF YOUNG PEOPLE
Reale Foundation supports initiatives for:
- Promoting the financial inclusion of young people, increasing financial skills (defined as the combination of knowledge, skills, attitudes and behaviour), access to and effective use of financial services
- Promoting the employability and integration of young people, supporting young people at a disadvantage in the development of their skills in preparation for the employment world
ENVIRONMENT & SUSTAINABLE COMMUNITIES AREA: RESILIENCE TO NATURAL DISASTERS
Reale Foundation supports initiatives for:
- Increasing the capability of communities to cope with natural disasters. In particular, Reale Foundation will support initiatives that provide support in an emergency and especially during the post-emergency phase
- Reducing exposure to risk and vulnerability of communities subject to earthquakes and floods
This area of intervention also includes support for development projects and artistic and cultural development of the territory and for initiatives that promote sustainable mobility.
