The project takes place in Chiang Saen, in the heart of Thailand's Golden Triangle, a region marked by poverty, social marginality and lack of prospects. Akka and Kayan girls live in this rural area, often excluded from education and fundamental rights, forced into a future of invisibility and fragility.

Here music becomes an instrument of emancipation: not only a universal language, but also a concrete means to promote hope, formation and social integration.

What the project involves

The initiative aims to complete an auditorium and to establish an educational and creative environment in which the girl child can grow up protected, discovering in music an opportunity for learning and redemption.

Through workshops, concerts and cultural exchanges, the project promotes inclusion, self-esteem and artistic skills, supporting lasting human and social development. In addition to the completion of the facilities, the involvement of local music teachers and international professionals is expected, to guarantee educational continuity and teaching excellence.

The beneficiaries

The project directly involves over 60 little girls guests of the school run by the Sisters of Providence in Chiang Saen, offering them a safe place to grow, learn and share experiences.

Indirect beneficiaries are local music teachers, who receive ongoing training, and the workers employed in the works to complete the auditorium, together with the wider community, who will be able to benefit from an innovative and inclusive educational model.
