It aims to be a tool for people with physical disabilities to achieve their full social integration, serving to defend their rights, eliminate social prejudices, carry out prevention and social awareness, collaborate with public authorities and social agents in the design, monitoring and evaluation of programmes aimed at the group while promoting, creating and managing centres and services for people with disabilities.
It is a non-profit, non-denominational and independent social entity that serves as a tool for people with physical disabilities to achieve their full social integration and foster the defence of their rights, in a positive, effective and supportive manner.
This model has made it possible to set up a network of services for the group: it covers the demand for medical, physical, psychological, employment or legal advice and training and informative orientation services which are not covered (or not in their entirety) by the public administration. It covers more than 15,000 people a year through the network stemming from this website.
The Reale Foundation finances the Josemi Monserrate project, a 5,000 m2 centre which develops activities and early childhood services for children from 0 to 3 years old; nevertheless, it is still missing a stimulation room.
