The heart nearby: San Cataldo

ACRIS brings free cardiovascular and cardiometabolic checks directly into the everyday places where people in San Cataldo live and gather, reaching residents who otherwise rarely get screened. Alongside blood pressure and body composition measurements, the project runs health education for families and students and uses a sign language interpreter to make its activities genuinely accessible, aiming to catch risk factors early and guide people towards their own doctor before problems become serious.
