Social beekeeping

Equo e non solo cooperativa sociale runs a social beekeeping programme for young people, especially disadvantaged youth and job seekers, in the rural area around Fasano, in the province of Brindisi. Working with local schools, participants take part in hands-on beekeeping activities and farm-based workshops that build practical skills, environmental awareness and a genuine connection to their own community, while helping counter isolation and limited access to real, experiential learning opportunities.
