Set Your Own Course

Fundación Sembrar Futuro pairs teenagers preparing to leave residential care in Santiago with the same mentor they already know and trust, continuing an existing relationship through the difficult transition into independent adult life. Young people leaving residential care consistently face worse outcomes than their peers, including higher rates of homelessness and unemployment, and this project responds by keeping a stable, familiar adult in their corner rather than introducing someone new at the most vulnerable moment.
