Psyché: a centre for transcultural mental health

MEDU - Medici per i Diritti Umani offers specialist mental health care to migrants, asylum seekers, refugees and women who have survived violence in Rome, addressing real barriers of language, culture and trauma that too often keep them from getting help. A multidisciplinary team of doctors, psychologists and cultural mediators combines individual psychotherapy, psychosocial support and group activities, working towards genuine access to care rather than a system these people simply cannot reach.
