Preventive healthcare in isolated communities

Casa Ronald McDonald runs free oral health days for children and adolescents in Chile who face real barriers, distance, cost or long waits, to accessing dental care in the public system. Alongside dental evaluations themselves, the project offers education and guidance on self-care for children and the adults responsible for them, aiming to catch problems early and refer them into the public system before they turn into more complex, harder-to-treat conditions later on.
