Open Country – Accessible Portacomaro

Anita e i suoi fratelli APS is working with the community of Portacomaro, in Monferrato, to map and remove the communication, organisational and cultural barriers that still keep people with disabilities from fully taking part in everyday local life. Through universal design and hands-on co-design with people with disabilities themselves, the project turns accessibility into an ordinary, shared responsibility across the town rather than something addressed only when a problem comes up.
