Healing: one piece at a time

Fondazione MilleSoli works with teenagers in Milan's Municipio 5 to build a large collective mosaic out of recycled ceramics, giving them a hands-on creative outlet at a time when many report real psychological difficulties since the pandemic. Working together on the artwork builds focus, self-esteem and a genuine sense of belonging, while introducing ideas about the circular economy and giving each participant a visible, lasting contribution to their own neighbourhood.
