From creative occupation to workplace inclusion

Association of Parents for People with Autism Rethymno runs a vocational training lab for teenagers with autism and intellectual disabilities in Crete, helping them build the soft skills, workplace safety knowledge and professional behaviour that a seasonal, tourism-driven local economy demands. Working with local employers, the project identifies each young person's individual strengths and connects them to real placements and, where needed, direct employment through the organisation's own social cooperative.
