Food Rescue Point

Hellenic Society for the Protection of Nature is piloting a Food Rescue Point that redirects safe, surplus packaged food away from the bin and towards people who need it, run largely by young volunteers trained for the role. The project responds to a real, everyday gap: usable food gets thrown away in the same communities where people struggle to afford enough to eat, and there's currently no visible, reliable system connecting the two.
