Closer to school, closer to the future

Jackfruit is building a 60-bed dormitory at its Community School Hub in Koch Goma, northern Uganda, giving children from the most remote villages a safe place to stay close to school instead of walking hours each way on roads that are often impassable in the rainy season. The dormitory removes one of the biggest practical barriers to regular attendance for children from the most vulnerable families, run with a proper child safeguarding policy and trained, supervising staff.
