Centro de Grabación para Ciegos de Viña del Mar is turning complex geographic and disaster-risk information about the Valparaíso region into a free audio magazine for people who are blind or have low vision. Chile faces real, recurring risks from wildfires, earthquakes, tsunamis and severe weather, yet the technical information that could help people prepare and respond is rarely accessible to them, leaving a real gap in how ready blind residents can be for an emergency.
