Advanced pain management at home

Fondazione A.D.A.S. brings advanced pain management, delivered through spinal drug infusion, directly into patients' homes instead of requiring repeated hospital visits. Using this newer technology, patients need far lower doses of opioids and experience fewer side effects, but the specialised staff and equipment it requires are rarely available locally. With trained staff able to manage these therapies at home, the project makes this modern treatment accessible to patients who would otherwise go without it.
