A black hole in the sky

In Sant'Antonio alle Piazze, a small hamlet of Leofreni with only a handful of residents left, a local community group is working to restore its abandoned 18th-century church, currently unusable because of a hole in its vaulted ceiling. Repairing the church would give the community back a place of worship and gathering, while also opening it up for cultural events, turning the building into the starting point for wider local development and tourism.
