Unoentrecienmil's action is a priority because of the high prevalence of chronic diseases among children and the lack of specialised services for their appropriate management. This project aims to fill these gaps by providing the necessary resources and support to improve the prognosis and quality of life of these children.
What the project involves
The focus of the project will be on preventing chronic diseases in the child population through the improvement of child health services, the development of preventive strategies and the implementation of evidence-based practices to reduce the incidence and impact of these diseases, improving the quality of life of affected children.
Expected Outcomes
- Equity in accessing health services
- Quality of care, based on scientific evidence, so that interventions are effective and safe
- Reduction in the prevalence and severity of childhood chronic diseases
- Creation of a framework of good practices in child health that can be replicated in other contexts
The beneficiaries
The direct beneficiaries are children with chronic illnesses and their families, estimated at around 500 people. Indirect beneficiaries include the medical community, educational institutions, and society at large, who will benefit from improved knowledge and practices in child health management, reaching more than 2,000 people.
