The project acts in the areas of educational poverty, digital well-being, and new models of cultural enjoyment of the Italian school population between the ages of 8 and 18. It offers an inclusive, didactically useful, and emotionally and interpersonally engaging multi-year training course that delves into the classical musical language and guides students in acquiring skills that contribute to their digital well-being.
What the project involves
Quartetto Fauves will help students relate the language of music to school subjects and to things outside school, in particular digital languages, by aligning high-profile musicians, schools, and public and private institutions.
Expected Outcomes
- Teaching how to make interdisciplinary connections, an essential skill in school and an important indicator of a person's relational development
- Equipping students with critical tools to improve their digital well-being
- Fighting educational poverty and developing emotional and interpersonal skills, as well as those to discover oneself and the world
- Training new music listeners and fans
The beneficiaries
The project will involve Comprehensive Institute and Secondary School classes, starting from age 8, throughout the country, for a total of approximately 6,000 students up to the age of 18 for each edition.
